Last night was our annual "Thanksgiving Tasting" at the Hurd Orchards. We've been going for a couple of years now and each year the food seems to be even better than the last year! We sampled almost 20 different recipes of the most delicious food. Some of our favorites were the swiss chard crepes, watercress salad with terragon dressing and sourcream raisin pie. The farm is run by a mother and daughter team and they create all the recipes and also make the most beautiful decorations with flowers from their farm. Here are a few pictures from inside the barn.
