Strawberry picking. We tried out a different place this year and it was more of a wild strawberry field. Sam pretty much just kept falling over, squishing strawberries left and right. Poppy ate every single strawberry she picked. I managed to pick 1 quart and then headed back to the strawberry stand and bought every pre-picked berry they had.

You can find us at the farmer's market every Saturday morning from now til the end of summer. Poppy loves picking out her own fruit and veggies and meeting up with friends from school...

The kids did a little recital of the songs they've learned throughout the year. It was really cute. Poppy was really into the songs. A few of the other parents commented on how "intense" and "serious" she was about her singing. Yes, indeed.
The directors of the school told me Poppy should get the award for being the biggest butterfly. She started out so quiet and shy two years ago. She cried for a long time even right up until last summer when we dropped her off. This year was a different story. She loved going to school every day to learn new things and make new friends. She even had her own "bike gang" on the playground...
Sammy was an "unofficial" student in Poppy's class. Every day he begged me to let him stay and play with the big kids...

And Claire is OBSESSED with Doc McStuffins. She has turned her closet into a clinic! Love it! We have to get them together this summer!
Brendan is OBSESSED with that Doc show too. We all find ourselves singing that catchy song..."I feel better so much better...." Andy has a real stethoscope and Brendan loves listening to all of our heartbeats.
OK, love the strawberry fields adventure. That was us last year. I cannot believe how much Poppy has grown... wow! And the playhouse is looking FABULOUS!
Love looking at all the the pics. Can't wait to see what that little Poppy grows up to be she has so many talents!! That show is a favorite of ours too:) I am just impressed that Poppy has a white shirt on while strawberry picking, you are a brave momma!:)
Could those two be any damn cuter? Seriously. When I saw the picture of Poppy riding the bike and I thought about the first photo I ever saw of her. So tiny and small in your Beco carrier. Insane how time if flying by.
Oh my - Summer fun indeed! I think the picture of Sam all ready for fishing is fantastic! The kids are going to love that playhouse!
