Moving Day

I've been wanting to move my blog over to wordpress for a while now, but I'm so comfortable with blogger that I've been putting it off. Now with having Miss P home, we're looking for a little more privacy, so I've decided to take the plunge. After much debate, I've decided to only share the password with real life friends and family, and maybe some of my regular blogging buddies. When I started this blog over a year ago, it was all about keeping friends and family up-to-date with the adoption process and meeting others in the adoption community. Now that we are a family of three, this blog has turned into a little scrapbook of our lives, our semi-private lives. I want to be able to post pictures and details without having to think about who or how many people are reading it.

So if you are interested in following along, shoot me an email or leave a comment. You can find us at http://pursuitofpoppy.wordpress.com

I will miss reading your blog, but totally understand that perspective! Thanks for all the pictures and stuff over the last few months. I really enjoyed it while waiting for my son to come home. Amy

I'm the same as the previous comment person. I will miss seeing Poppy grow up, but I completely get it and would do the same if I was in your shoes. She's a beautiful girl and you all make an amazingly beautiful family!!! God bless all of you!!! Our little River got his approval to come home from Vietnam and will be home this week, so my best friends will soon be enjoying family time! Take Care!

Amanda, I have enjoyed reading your blog and seeing pictures of Poppy, but can understand your desire for privacy. I'd love to keep following, but will understand if you'd rather I didn't. I wouldn't share the password w/ my hubby, since he works w/ your hubby, and we want to keep your private life out of the office! My email is wwkimpossible@roadrunner.com. Kim

Hi Amanda,

We have just submitted our homestudy for approval and are hoping to have the dossier into Korea before the month's end. I noticed you moved the blog to WordPress and have protected it, which is a great idea but after reading your blog I must say I want to see the progression of Poppy's journey.

Also, we are located in the Philadelphia area and was interested in which agency you used.

All the best,
Michelle

This is my first time even exploring blogs about Korean adoption, certainly the first one I've responded to. After infertility drama and trauma, it looks like adoption is becoming a reality for my husband and I. We will officially go on the wait list in 2 weeks, and we're pretty much scared to death. We know no one personally who has adopted from Korea, and only one family who has adopted internationally.
Seeing your pictures shows me that this can all be okay, even glorious, and it just helps so much to see other people who have done it and are intact and happy, albeit exhausted. And what a beautiful little girl...
Thank you. For giving courage and hope to those who are coming after you.
Julie
