You know summer is near...

when it's the last day of ballet...

You know summer is near when you go to your first baseball game of the year...

this was a special Star Wars themed baseball game and Sam was in love with his light sabre...

You know summer is near when you hit up the beach for the first time of the year...

We packed up and were at the beach, in Canada, by 9am on Monday morning.  It looks a little overcast in this picture, but it was actually beautiful out.  Hot and sunny.  We had a perfect little morning and were back home by naptime.  We plan on making lots of little trips to the beach this summer...

You know summer is near when you're getting your first ice cream truck purchase of the season...

So far it's looking like it's going to be a great summer!
