So last year, my parents starting having their children and grandchildren over every Thursday night for pizza dinner. It's a win-win for everyone, I love the fact that I don't have to think about making dinner that night and it's awesome that Poppy (and now Sam) gets to play with her cousins so often. We all really look forward to it every week. During the summer, all of our pizza Thursdays were spent outside with the kids running around the yard or swimming in the pool. But as the weather gets cooler, we head back inside my parents house and things tend to get a little nutty, having so many kids in one little house. Check out the following videos for a little taste of "Pizza Thursday".
Ok, this first one is just plain cuteness. This is Poppy and Tucker hanging out in "her room" at my parents house...
And this next one just speaks for itself. It's pretty long (I'm just too lazy to edit these things) but it's pretty funny to watch it to the end...
Apparently, Poppy is quite musically talent (as our her cousins). Coming up next, a peek into our "Playdate Mondays"...

OK, I am laughing and clutching my stomach after the second video. Poppy's voice carries, doesn't it!? I love how throughout all the chaos, she keeps going. (And gets louder where need be.) I will now be singing "Mary had a Little Lamb" the rest of the day.
(Oh, and going for the mic to have it stolen away was priceless... especially since she didn't miss a beat!)
I so love that the kids can all hang out together and at the same time get to spend time with their grandparents. Of course, the fact that you get to catch a break to boot is the cherry on top!
Poppy is quite the performer/singer. Yes, I agree with Christine- I will be singing that song all.day.long.
Oh my goodness. The musical performance video is a HOOT. I love how the volume keeps increasing over the 3 minutes. I bet Poppy sleeps well after those pizza nights! :)
Fabulous! We do pizza fridays - but not with extended families - just ours. Perfect excuse to have pizza every week too :) Great idea though to ensure the family stays in touch. And yes - great singing!
Ok...So much to love here. First of all...pizza Thursays. I heart that so much. What an awesome thing to always remember!
Then...the music. I asolutely love the fact that she sang the same song for 3+ minutes despite the kids running around her, taking back the microphone...people coming and going. She's like the energizer bunny. She and Ella would be good friends. SO cute!
I love that through all the madness Poppy stayed true to her song!!!
Adorable!
